CORE – Daily Care Activities are Considered Core Supports
NDIS Core – Daily Care Activities are a set of support services that aim to help people with disabilities perform daily living tasks that they may have difficulty doing on their own. These activities are considered core supports and are covered under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
The NDIS Core Daily Care Activities consist of four main categories, which are:
- Personal Activities – This includes tasks such as showering, toileting, dressing, grooming, and eating. These are activities that a person needs to do to maintain their personal hygiene and health.
- Household Tasks – This includes tasks such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, and grocery shopping. These are activities that help a person maintain their home and ensure they have access to food and other essentials.

- Social, Community, and Civic Participation – This includes support for social and community activities such as attending events, going out with friends, and participating in community groups.
